Fragment is Katrina’s first public art commission brought to fruition in collaboration with UAP based in Brisbane. Installed in 2008, it is located in the forecourt of the Darwin Convention Centre in Darwin’s Waterfront precinct. Fabricated using cast aluminium elements, the piece represents the omnipresent activity and balance between cycles of life referencing coral and marine life in the local area.

The clustering elements in the work were incorporated into the branding for the Darwin Waterfront precinct.
